Clean Rooms International has launched its Flow-Thru Light Troffer specifically designed for cleanroom applications. The product received Underwriters Laboratory certification 1598 as an air handling illuminated troffer.
“We are very excited about this new, UL approved lighting product for cleanroom applications and feel strongly that this will be the leading UL approved solution on the market”, stated Bret Asper, COO.
The Flow-Thru Light Troffer is a solution suited to cleanroom, pharmaceutical, laboratory, hospital and other environments where minimal ceiling space is available for lighting yet require a clean environment. The Flow-Thru Light Troffer is suitable for Class 10 to Class 100,000 environments.
Clean Rooms International’s SAM Fan Filter Modules may be used with the Flow-Thru Light Troffers without compromising the UL listing. Features of the product include; LED and fluorescent bulb compatibility, an aluminum egg crate grille, room side accessible lighting ballasts, sealed housing and a white powder coated finish.
The product may be installed in 1 ½” or 2” T-Grid and is available in 2’x2’, 2’x3’ and 2’x4’ sizes
In August, Michigan-based Clean Rooms International met the requirements to become a NEBB-certified company. NEBB is an international certification association for firms that deliver high-performance building systems.
